Huge turnout at Toronto wildlife conference

On Friday, September 28, 2012, we held our 2nd annual Living with Wildlife conference and over 130 people came together to learn about non-lethal strategies for living with deer, bears, beavers, coyotes and more.

Attendees included lots of government folks, wildlife control officials, wildlife rehabbers, city planners, caring individuals, NGOs - and it even attracted the attention of few reps from the fur industry (what's that saying? keep your friends close and your enemies closer?)

All of these people wanted to learn about non-lethal ways to live with deers, bears, beavers, coyotes and more. It was a HUGE success.

Special thanks to our amazing sponsors which included Pitney Bowes Management Services, LUSH, Tori's Bakeshop, Bloomer's Bakery, Urban Herbivore all volunteers and speakers. Big kudos to our our new Toronto-based staff members, Joseph Pace and Shannon Kornelsen.

Photos and videos of the 2nd annual Living with Wildlife 2012 conference will be posted soon.
