He is a commentator for TVA Sports, deputy leader of the Green Party of Canada and most recently executive director of the fledgling Canadian Hockey League Players' Association. During his NHL career he played for the Edmonton Oilers, Phoenix Coyotes and Pittsburgh Penguins. Georges continues to support our efforts to end the commerical fur trade through his social media and appearances at our events.

Ms. Naked supports our campaign to ban the import and sale of dog and cat fur in Canada. She has written letters to the Prime Minister of Canada and has appeared on our behalf for several media interviews regarding this issue.

He is best known as the virtuous Brandon Walsh on the television series Beverly Hills, 90210 and for his current role starring as Richard "Fitz" Fitzpatrick in the show Call Me Fitz. Mr. Priestley wrote a letter on our behalf to the Prime Minister of Canada urging legislation to ban the import and sale of dog and cat fur.


kim Bassinger head shot Kim Basinger is an Academy-Award Winning American actress, singer and former fashion model. Ms. Basinger narrated our film America's Shame. It was a powerful anti-trapping film that was produced and released in January 1991.

He is best known as host of the popular and long-running CBC Television science magazine, The Nature of Things, seen in over forty nations. He is also well known for criticizing governments for their lack of action to protect the environment. In October 1982, Dr. Suzuki narrated our anti-trapping film, Cry from the Wild.


loretta websize Loretta Swit is an American stage and television actress known for her character roles. Swit is best known for her portrayal of Major Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan on M*A*S*H. She's also a big animal lover. To help us spread a message of compassion, Loretta narrated our film Time to Care, that was released in 1986.


buntyandbruno websize Bruno Gerussi was a Canadian television actor born in Medicine Hat, Alberta, best known for the lead role in the CBC Television series The Beachcombers. He also hosted CBC's daily cooking-talk show Celebrity Cooks in the late 1970s. Mr. Gerussi narrated two of our important anti-trapping films, Canada's Shame and The Sham and the Shame, released in 1977 and 1980 respectively.
